The PA State Nurses Association today announced it would participate in a national promotion to build awareness for the nursing profession through the use of the very popular awareness bracelets. Various nursing associations will be offering "Celebrate Nursing" awareness bracelets in an effort to educate the public on the important role registered nurses play in delivering quality healthcare. In addition, this campaign is part of a larger effort to establish a unified voice for the nursing profession as part of National Nurses Week (May 6-12).Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Maryland, Nebraska, Montana, Colorado and Iowa are among the first state nursing associations kicking off the national campaign.
